The Argentine international and Sky Blues star striker Sergio Aguero has revealed he’s feeling better than ever following successful surgery at the end of last season
The 30-year-old underwent a knee operation which ruled him out for the opening month of the 2017-18 campaign but recovered to feature in the World Cup and has made a quick start to the 2018-19 season too.
Aguero has five goals to his name already this term – including a hat-trick in a Premier League clash with Huddersfield Town last month – and the Argentine believes that his previous knee troubles could now be behind him.
“Honestly, I feel fantastic.”
“It’s the best I’ve felt in years. It shows in my game.”
“The challenge now is keeping up this leel, I’ll be working non-stop to maintain it.”
