Arsenal are expected to announce the signing of Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno imminently – and this is what he will bring to the Emirates.
Arsenal are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper to provide some competition to Premier League stalwart Petr Cech.
Leno has one year left on his contract at Leverkusen and German outlet SportBild claim they could allow the shot-stopper to leave for as little as €20million (£17.6m).
German source Bild reports that Arsenal will make imminent announcement about the capture of the goalkeeper from the Bundesliga outfit.
Leno made 38 appearances for Leverkusen last term, but missed out on a spot in Joachim Low ‘s 23-man roster for the World Cup.
Arsenal are also alleged to be in advanced talks with Borussia Dortmund over the signing of defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos .
